The Rock Family Gallery, located in the Mission Arts Centre, is a place where local, emerging artists and artisans may exhibit their works in any media. Artists living in British Columbia who are not represented by a professional gallery are considered local, emerging artists.
The Mission Arts Council welcomes submissions in all 2D and 3D media and techniques, including fibre arts, sculpture, painting, photography, prints and drawings.
On May 11th, 2012, in celebration of the Mission Arts Council’s 40th year, our gallery was dedicated and officially named ‘The Rock Family Gallery’. The building, which houses The Rock Family Gallery is owned by Clifford Rock. Mr. Rock (left) is pictured here with his wife, Marjorie, his son Brian, and Brian’s wife, Mina.
