Camp MAC

Mission Arts Council has offered our summer CAMP MAC Art program for 40 years.
These classes are recognized as a valuable service to the local community.

CAMP MAC offers a variety of arts and crafts classes, which allow children to explore different mediums and art forms, inspiring them to explore their creative imagination!

Our sessions during Spring Break are 1½ hour sessions, scheduled Monday to Friday, and our Summer sessions run Monday to Thursday through July and August.

The first week of our Spring Break Camp MAC runs Monday-Friday for the 5-12 age group, and offers a different activity each day. The second week runs Monday-Thursday, and is for the 13-18 age group, and usually takes the form of a 4-day course.

Camp MAC Summer Children are divided into 2 groups; age 5 to 8 for the morning sessions, and 9 to 12 in the afternoon. Guest artists visit during the summer and instruct the Children in drawing, performing theatre, classes in paper mache’ , clay works, felting, mosaics and much more.

The CAMP MAC Summer program traditionally utilizes students through the HRDC Summer Career Placement Program, where students gain valuable experience during their placement at the MAC.

The cost for the 5-12 group is $9 per session.
It is not required to sign up for all sessions, simply choose the days you wish.

The cost for the 13-18 age group will be for all four days, and will depend of the program running, but prices will be posted well in advance.

Pre-registration required. Class size limited to 15 children.
