Myles Mathis Myles is fortunate to have a natural talent in art, and has taken every opportunity to develop his skill. Recognition started early; he won a contest that resulted in having his designs printed on binders for the art curriculum in Virginia. Myles moved to Mission with his wife in 1994. Myles was awarded Best in Show in the 2005 Peggy Staber Art Show and Honorable Mention in 2007. In 2006, he won Best in Show at the Northwest Washington Fair. In 2008, Myles print of eagles was selected by the Western Wilderness Committee. Myles has always had an interest and appreciation for history. Much of his art is inspired by historical events and articles. Myles' contribution to the Silent Art Auction:
